Why was I waitlisted for a course?
In order to best serve the thousands of educators and providers in our densely populated region we use a goal-oriented and deliberate process to support educators in meeting their professional development goals.
Priority is given to educators who:
- Live and/or work in Region 6
- Are currently working in Center Based, FCC (Systems and Independents), Public Schools, ASOST, or license-exempt Programs
- Are taking the course to complete an IPDP goal
- Require the course to advance their EEC professional qualification
- Require the course to complete requirements for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
We encourage everyone to continue applying for courses to meet their professional development goals. Please complete your application as completely and thoroughly as possible so we have all the necessary information to evaluate it.
I am signed up for your email newsletters, but I don’t get them. Why not?
We send our newsletters through Constant Contact, so sometimes they end up in the SPAM/Junk folders of your email. To make sure you get our newsletters, please go to an email from EPS Region 6 that is in the SPAM/Junk folder and mark it as “not SPAM,” then it should go to your email Inbox.
I need a course but I don’t see it on your calendar. How do I request for it to be offered?
We want to hear from you! You can fill out a needs assessment. We use results from our needs assessments to plan our professional development calendar.
If you are in a center and have a large group of educators who need a particular course, please fill out our Program Services Request form (available in English and Spanish). We try to accommodate as many requests as possible.
My licensor suggested I reach out to EPS for coaching and support, how do I do that?
Fill out the Program Focus Coaching application and a member of the EPS team will contact you as quickly as possible. *Please note in the form that your licensor has recommended you reach out.*
If you are mandated to work with a coach, please call us directly at 617-348-6227.
Which Region am I in?
You are considered to be “in” both the Region you live and work in. For example, if you live in Waltham and work in Boston, you are in both Region 3 and Region 6. Educators who live or work in Region 6 are given priority for professional development opportunities.
