Explore the foundations of child development (ages 5-13) and the causes behind difficult behavior. Participants will practice composing and use positively state instructions and rules and other tools to build a positive peer culture and implement a positive behavior management system. Learn to motivate positive behavior in children exhibiting challenging behavior. Explore strategies for positive communication and interactions with youth that also build strong relationships. Participants will learn about conflict resolution and mediation techniques that they can utilize in their programs immediately! This course is for educators working with school age children.
Participants will receive a 0.5 CEU certificate
