|In this course educators will learn ideas, tools, and tips for engaging families in child assessments in order to make families strong partners in their child’s education. You will also learn ways to gain information from families to deepen your understanding of the child. Among the topics addressed will be attention to culturally responsive interactions, ideas for gathering information from families, and family-friendly ways of sharing data.
Who can participate: Early Educators, including Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Family Child Care Providers, Directors and other administrators.
Credits: 5 hours of training/0.5 CEUs are available.
Cost and Registration: The cost of the workshops is $15.
