ED224 Supervision and Personnel Management in Programs for Children (in English)
Schedule: January 17 – March 7, Wednesdays, 6-8:30PM
This is a BLENDED/HYBRID course. It meets once a week for 2.5 hours, with the rest of the hours completed online in Blackboard. This is a 3-credit college course.

Course Description: A course designed for students who have had experience in children’s programs. The course will emphasize the role of the supervisor or mentor in human resource management. Leadership theories and skills will be explored as they relate to working with diverse populations. The principles of staff supervision and performance appraisals as well as staff training and development will be studied. Collaboration with outside resources including parents, social service, and health care professionals in the context of children’s programs will be examined.
This course leads to EEC Director I or Director II certifications.
