The successful family child care business means that you are able to serve more children and more families. This 15-hour course, approved for 1.5 CEUs by Mass AEYC, reviews the skills and knowledge needed to own, operate or manage a successful family child care program.  The course is delivered through six 2 ½ hour sessions. Each module includes mini-lectures, resources, discussions in small and  large groups,  and personal reflection activities. Put together, these activities build your reflection guide and business plan. At the conclusion of the course, each participant will have completed scoring their Business Administration Scale (BAS) program assessment, will have completed a detailed and full action plan on ways to improve that score, and will have finished the first draft of their program’s Business Plan.
