EPS Introduction

The Educator and Provider Support (EPS) Region 6 is a regional partnership that provides professional development and program improvement resources for early childhood educators and providers. EPS is funded by the Department of Early Education and Care in Massachusetts. The EEC funding for professional development is shared by five (5) regions across the state. Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) Inc. is the lead agency for the EPS grant in Region 6.

In partnership with its collaborators, EPS offers CEU courses, college courses, Coaching & Mentoring, technical assistance, QRIS support, and Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP) support. These services are becoming increasingly important in the field of early education, especially as EEC is turning its attention to Workforce Development of the early education workforce. This is good news for educators and providers who are eager to enhance their skills and abilities to advance in the field.

The diverse early education workforce brings many strengths that we all should be proud of. However, we believe that together, we can enhance our diverse abilities and skills to improve the lives and prospects of all of the children and families we serve. EPS Region 6 is happy to be here to partner with you as you grow and develop in the very important work that you do.
